The court has frozen, cautioned, and preserved all assets associated with Sverre Ingvar Amervik, Ingvar Investments Limited, and Selina Dela Mwatsuma in a court battle between Sverre Ingvar and Joyce Mueni.
This comes days after it was discovered that he had transferred his properties, company, and shares associated with him to his girlfriend Selina Dela Mwatsuma.
Last week, the court had granted a certificate of urgency to Joyce Mueni through her lawyer Elkana Mogaka, as urgent and was set for hearing on March 22.
Upon the hearing, the Mombasa High Court Judge, Justice Gregory Mutai, ordered that all assets associated with Sverre and Selina be frozen.
“By order of this Honourable Court, direct the immediate freeze, caution, and, or preservation of all bank, M-Pesa, fintech, assets, and, or other accounts, and all other assets both moveable and immovable registered to Sverre Ingvar Amervik, Ingvar Investments Limited, and Selina Dela Mwatsuma, the so-called Respondent, 2nd proposed Respondent, and 3rd proposed Respondent,” read the orders.

The judge also granted for Ingvar Investment Limited and Selina Dela Mwatsuma to be enjoined as the second and third respondents in the suit.
“That leave be and is hereby granted to amend the plaint to incorporate the proposed first and second respondents,” read part of the orders.
The court also directed DCI Headquarters to investigate, compile, and table and present all known accounts, assets, and properties owned by both Ingvar Investment Limited and the Respondent (Sverre Ingvar) pending inter partes hearing and final disposition of the application.
Joyce Mueni had sued her husband (Sverre Ingvar) for divorce and division of matrimonial property.
Joyce had earlier indicated that all personal accounts of her husband have been emptied and money transferred.
She further said that her husband was trying to escape capture of funds and properties by the court and her.
