To join DevReporters’ membership, you must be:
- A graduate of Journalism, Communication and Media Production from any Kenyan university.
- A graduate of Journalism, Communication and Media Production from any Kenyan mid-level college
- A freelance/correspondent for not less than three years
- Interested in Web, Print and Radio content production
Preference will be given to applicants based at the county/rural areas in any of the counties within the regional bloc listed above from where they will operate and report.
Young women are especially encouraged to apply.

- A cover letter stating your interest in joining the membership, the county from where you will work as well as the development themes you will highlight
- Copies of relevant certificates

Development Through Media (DTM) is a non-profit audio-visual media organisation based in Nairobi, Kenya that was established in 1996, and started operations in 1997. DTM works to disseminate information about development and social activities in East Africa, Africa as a whole, and throughout the world. The organisation seeks to facilitate participation of all groups in the social, economic, technological, and political development of Kenya, East Africa, and Africa by the media in general and audio-visual media in particular, including film, video, and audio productions.
