Jubilee Party Secretary General Moitalel Ole Kenta has led a delegation of Kisii and Nyamira party leaders and aspirants to officially open the party’s new office in Nyamira.
The launch comes ahead of the “Meet the People Tour” scheduled to begin tomorrow in Kisii and Nyamira counties.
The tour will be led by the United Opposition and hosted by Jubilee’s presidential aspirant, Dr. Fred Matiang’i.
Addressing the public at the Nyamira Adventist Health Centre, Ole Kenta declared that the party has thrown its full weight behind Matiang’i.
He urged the residents of Nyamira to support their “son” in his quest to lead the country in the 2027 general election.
“I have come here as the party’s Secretary General to show my support for Matiang’i because he deserves to lead this country,” Ole Kenta declared.
He also informed the public that the PNU party has joined Jubilee in drumming up support for Matiang’i, affirming that the time is ripe for the Gusii community to produce the country’s next president.
Ole Kenta expressed concern over reports of planned disruptions of the tour by certain UDA leaders from the region.
He warned that those attempting to cause chaos would “meet the wrath of the people who support Matiang’i” and insisted the opposition would not be cowed.
“Kenya is giving you a president; do you want to reject this opportunity that your community has been given?” Ole Kenta asked.
Further, he criticized the current administration, alleging that goons had been seen collaborating with police to disrupt meetings.

The Jubilee National Chairman, Vincent Kemosi, echoed these sentiments, stating that the team is ready to face any attempts to interfere with their peaceful rallies.
Kemosi, who is vying for the West Mugirango parliamentary seat, confirmed that tomorrow’s tour will proceed from Ekerenyo to Keroka and finally Kisii town.
On the issue of party nominations, Ole Kenta promised a transparent process, stating there would be no direct tickets.
“All aspirants will participate in fair elections to determine flag bearers. Even top officials, including Ole Kenta himself, will be subjected to the will of the voters,” he declared.
About 100 aspirants attended the ceremony, pledging to popularize the party and ensure a Matiang’i victory.
Meanwhile, Fred Matiang’i, alongside Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka, addressed members of PCEA Utawala, in Embakasi.

The former Interior Secretary accused the government of misreading the national mood and warned against any attempts to rig the 2027 elections.
Matiang’i criticized recent security lapses, specifically mentioning an incident at Kisumu International Airport.
He concluded by promising that a “United Alternative Government” would prioritize credible governance and involve Gen Z in national decision-making.
