Jackline Nyamusi Ondieki, Public Health Promotion Coordinator Nyamira County, raises concern on the sexual gender based violence cases in Nyamira County after a three month old baby was defiled by the father.
The baby is receiving medical care at Nyamira County Referral Hospital.
She, however, said that cases of gender based violence have slightly reduced in the count as compared to the same period in 2021.
Sexual Gender based Violence recorded in Nyamira County, in 2021 were 3779 while in 2022 were 1141.
